From Tools to Artworks: The Shape Revolution of Sliding Door Locks
Traditional door locks are often confined to the single role of security guards, while contemporary American sliding door locks break traditional perceptions with disruptive designs. Inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy of "form follows function", the new generation of products compresses the thickness of the lock plate to within 7mm, and the zinc alloy substrate presents architectural-grade geometric cutting through CNC precision casting. Using a simple anodizing process, a titanium gray door lock transforms its surface into 3D ripples with light lines, and has been evaluated by the curator as a "miniature dynamic sculpture".
